You’ve found the site and I am so glad that you are here. I’d love to tell you a bit more about the EDWE Movement.

What is EDWE?

EDWE stands for Every Day With Evernote. I choose this phrase because it’s how I live my life. I started using Evernote 10 years ago and it has been a part of my every day life ever since. I use it for personal and business projects, my writing, and everything in between. There are three things in this life that I can’t function without; my Apple products, my T-Mobile cell phone plan, and last but not least my Evernote account.

What do you mean by Finding Zen with Technology?

Before I started my paperless journey I had things all over the place. I couldn’t find important paperwork when I needed it. Family memories were scattered all over the place, stuffed in drawers and bins in the garage. I needed somewhere to keep it all organized. A central place that I could get to from anywhere. I tried a laundry list of other applications. Back then I was on a Windows machine and if an organizing/productivity software ran on that platform I tried it. Nothing felt right. I was having a Golidlocks and the Three Bears moment. Everything I tried had some good features and some bad ones. It wasn’t until I discovered Evernote that I found the one that was just right.

So…. why should I stick around?

While I would love to have you come back over and over to see the new content on the site, I realize that this may not be your cup of tea. That’s okay. What works for me may not work for you. I wish you all the best on your individual path. If what works for me, does work for you that’s awesome! Welcome to the club, family, team, movement (whatever works for you). I hope to have some amazing interactions with those who find the information I share helpful. Comments and suggestions are always welcome either by commenting here on the site or through other social channels.

My promise to the EDWE community.

I can’t promise you that the journey to Zen is going to be easy or that it’s going to be a quick fix to a lifelong situation. What I can promise you is that I will tell it like it is. I will readily admit that I am a die hard fan of the three companies that I listed above. However, that doesn’t mean that everything I have to say on the site will be all rainbows, sunshine, and unicorns. If something is broken I will tell you. I will also tell you when it’s fixed. If you ask a question and I don’t have the answer, I will try my best to get the answer for you if I don’t know. There will be reviews, and tutorials of products other than Evernote and I will be up front and honest. My mission is to help you find your Zen. I believe that in order to find it you need to have all the facts, good and bad, so that you can make the best decision for you.

A Couple Quick Disclaimers

  1. I am an Evernote Certified Consultant and I do use affiliate links on the site when referencing the plans or signing up for the service. I am compensated for paid signups through those links.
  2. As stated earlier in the post, I am an Apple girl. You should assume that anything I reference application/service wise is going to be good to go on Apple products. When something is also available on Windows and/or Web I will make sure ti note that. I do have a Widows machine available to help work out any issues. However, as stated, the majority of my posting will be geared toward Apple devices.
